ETTA Classes

Youth Classes- After School:  (Ages 5-12)

T/Th- 2:30 - 5:00 p.m. / Wed. 1:30 - 5:00 p.m.

 

Explore creativity through ART Materials- painting; clay; paper mache; collage, etc and Story Theater through a process of learning the story and bringing it to a performance level- Page to Stage.  The Process is the most important!  Exploring Art brings confidence in all parts of life, in theater and in the visual arts.

 

Adult Classes: (ages 18-99)

 

ART Tuesdays:  6-8 p.m.  Explore various media to make art that reflects YOU!  Mask-making; clay- hand building; painting; drawing and paper-craft- collage; pop ups and more!

 

IMPROV Wednesdays:  6-8 p.m.  Learn Improv basics through Improv games and a variety of techniques; learn through Social Justice Story Theater, based on the methods of Augusto Boal. (Theater of the Oppressed; Rainbow of Desire and Techniques for Actors and Non Actors.)

 

The Rainbow Players Improv Theater Troupe meets every Thursday evening: 6-8 p.m. since 1999.  We devise new theater through a variety of techniques as shared and taught on Wednesdays.  At this moment, membership to the troupe involves and interview and awareness of improv methods and performance experiences.
